Transfering using IMAX DMR

[hazardfilms123]

Has anyone gotten an IMAX DMR transfer for their film? Some films just seem to need an IMAX experience (Lord of the Rings is one of them but unfortunately was too long for a transfer).

I would like to get more information on this so that I can know the possiblities of one day getting an film in IMAX using a DMR transfer.

I apologize for the delay in responding, and thank you for posting. IMAX DMR (Digital Media Remastering) was the process IMAX used to remaster studio films for IMAX screens. Today, films are released in IMAX through partnerships with IMAX and studios, and some are shot on IMAX-certified digital cameras. For independent filmmakers, IMAX's website explains its filmmaker programs.
