Whom I will turn to for budgets?

[vak191b]

Hi!I think I have some good topic, and I have passion to make them into real films. But the only lack thing I think is the fund.
Please tell me where or whom you apply for fund from if you have made films in the way of filming by some sponsors.I wonder it that who often sponsor these projects such as documentary or movie or TV clips.
Thank you!

I apologize for the delay in responding, and thank you for posting. Funding is the biggest challenge for most filmmakers, and passion for your topics is a great start.

Documentaries are often funded through grants, foundations and nonprofits connected to the subject, as well as crowdfunding. You can start with our list of verified grants and labs at https://studentfilmmakers.com/verified-grant-and-lab-websites/. Making a short teaser or a few minutes of footage first makes it much easier to convince sponsors. Our Producing, Financing & Crowdfunding forum is a great place to ask more.
