Motion of Final Cut Studio...

I have purchased Final Cut Studio for personal use, and Motion does not run at all. As soon as I start the program, it shuts itself down. The only error messege that appears says, "program has unexpectedly quit." I have already deleted the program and reloaded it, and I continue to have the same issue. Does anyone know why this is happening?

I apologize for the delay in responding, and thank you for posting. When an app quits right away even after reinstalling, the cause is usually the graphics card not meeting the app's requirements (Motion depended heavily on the GPU), or a corrupted preference file.

Trashing Motion's preferences and checking the system requirements against your graphics card are the first steps. Today, Apple Motion is sold on its own and runs on current Macs. Our Editing & Post-production forum is a good place to ask more.
