3d objects into Vegas

Hello guys,


i want to make an animation using 3d objects. I already know how to animate keyframes, but i dont know how to export 3d files to Vegas.

I am using "Ulead cool 3d" and "Autodesk Maya" to make the objects. How can i save them in a format that can be opened in Sony Vegas?


Oh, its Vegas 7.0.

I apologize for the delay in responding, and thank you for posting. Vegas can't open 3D files directly. Render your animation from Maya or Ulead Cool 3D as an image sequence (PNG or TGA) or a video file, with an alpha channel if you want transparency.

Then import the image sequence into Vegas and layer it over your footage. Our Editing & Post-production forum is a good place to share your results!
