Work Needed

[Ginger Ranger]

Hey guys. I'm currently in a student film contest that requires me to take a script for a advert and film it. My problem is that I need some simple CGI work done - a pregnancy test changes into a fag in a woman's hand while the camera pulls out. Can you, or someone you know offer me their skills? I'm willing to pay a little or maybe you can give me another suggestion to get past this problem?

I apologize for the delay in responding, and thank you for posting. That transformation sounds like a clever ad concept. You can often avoid heavy CGI on a shot like this: hide the swap behind a quick hand movement or a person passing through frame, or shoot both objects in the same hand with a locked camera and blend them in your editor before the pull-out begins. Today free tools such as Blender and the Fusion page in DaVinci Resolve can handle the compositing. For help, you can also post a request at https://studentfilmmakers.com/casting-and-crew/ or here in the VFX forum. I hope the contest went well!
