I apologize for the delay in responding, and thank you for posting. The XL H1 was a big moment, bringing HDV recording with interchangeable lenses and pro features like HD-SDI output and timecode to Canon's XL line. Many documentary and indie shooters started their HD careers on it. Did anyone here shoot with an XL H1, and what did you love or struggle with? It's fun to compare it with today's compact cinema cameras, which shoot 4K or 6K raw for a similar or lower price.
