What do you guys think of this light kit?

I apologize for the delay in responding, and thank you for posting. Budget tungsten kits like that one can work for learning, but they get very hot and draw a lot of power. Today affordable LED panels and COB lights are the better buy for students: they run cool, often work on batteries, and many let you adjust color temperature. Whatever you buy, add sturdy stands, diffusion and sandbags.
