Hi all.....What is the connectivity joy between these two things? The camera has no firewire port. Can I connect with USB? If impossible, is there a recommended editing package?

I apologize for the delay in responding, and thank you for posting. Cameras without FireWire usually couldn't send DV video over USB to Final Cut. The solution then was a FireWire-equipped deck or camera to capture the tapes. Today, if you still have tapes, a local digitizing service can transfer them to files you can edit in any program.
