i agree with Derek on the suggestion for Pro Tools. This is what our sound designer has used on all of our films thus far and its better than anything i could have done with FCP alone

Does anyone know of any good non-linear editing courses to take in nyc? ive done some searches and there are a million and a half courses i could take. im working primarily with a Mac right now so an FCP course and After FX course would be awesome. Anyone know of anything for kinda cheap? THANKS!

I have used Premier and FCP for the last few years but have recently started working with Vegas. Theres a few quarks that i dont like about it but i would definately say that it stands up to premier and fcp standards. who knows...i might even eventually switch :)

hey marie, its really never to early to look for money with financing an indie film. you just want to make sure that before you actually present your plan, you have it all put together in a marketable way. As far as info about funding, i would definately do plenty of research. Read some good...

ok as far as squibs go. this is what we used for our last film and it turned out AWESOME!!!! 1. go to any home and garden center and buy one of those pumps used to spray pesticide stuff....(they run around $30)...you just need the one gallon. 2. also buy about 6ft of clear hose that is about...

i would definately stay away from the blank firing gun unless you have some good insureance. But, for our last film, we actually found a pellet gun thats a replica of a serious handgun. We didnt load it with any pellets of course but it worked Great! Ill post the link to the film when we finish...
