i second that. also don't clutter the start of the film with your credits. even feature films make that mistake. people want to see a story not the names of people.

ok, i'm way too late but you might use this trick for something else.. cook some beet root. keep the juice. a few drops in your water will give you red wine. it's also good for making fake blood.

my advise. go to a chinese cheapie shop. they sometimes have good toys. you don't need blanks. put the sound over later. ordinary toy shops also might have good guns. some actually have good built in sound effects. they are usually brightly colored but a spray can can change that. if you want...

thanks for watching and yes i like swimming in that rock pool . unfortunately it is getting ever more popular which makes it hard to be used as a film location. but some people are good and actually help with the filming.

thanks, and yes i worked in the film industry for 25 years mainly as a mechanical special effects technician but also in lighting, gripping and other departments. it's also true that you need passion because short films rarely make money. but it gives me the chance to tell my stories and escape...
