Any match-moving experts here?

Hello guys, I'm new

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about match-moving or motion-tracking. My real question is, is it possible to take a real human being and match-move it to another human being? If I wanted my father to be doing the acting, but I actually did it, could I rotoscope or match move his whole body to mine so it looks like he was the real character in the movie instead of me?

I apologize for the delay in responding, and thank you for posting. What you describe is possible today in a few ways. Rotoscoping lets you trace or replace a performer frame by frame, and motion capture can drive a digital character with your performance. Newer AI-assisted tools can replace faces or whole bodies, but if you use another person's likeness, get their permission and disclose AI-generated media where platforms require it. Free Blender has camera and object tracking, and DaVinci Resolve's Fusion page handles compositing, so start with a short test shot.
