Canon Gl2 Settings to Achieve Highest Quality

Could anyone tell me some settings they use on manual mode to obtain the highest quality outcome on the Canon Gl2? Right know I shoot on SP, make sure I white balance first, shoot with now gain, and in movie mode. I just need some help to get a nicer image because right now it's not as nice as I would like. I am shooting outdoors so plenty of light. Any help would be great!

Thanks.

I apologize for the delay in responding, and thank you for posting. You're on the right track. A few more GL2 tips: use the frame mode, set a shutter speed around 1/50 or 1/60, set exposure manually with zebras, and use an ND filter outdoors so you're not stopped down too far, which softens the image. Lowering sharpness slightly can give a more filmic look.
