A pretty direct question. Does anyone still embrace cut/splice editing as their craft???????? if so, who? and also does anyone teach it????? Mozzeltov.

i don't know anyone personally, but i recently purchased a book entitled "how to shoot a feature film for under $10,000 and not go to jail" In the book, the author (Bret Stern) dedicates a few sections to editing your actual film, rather than electronically

It's a great book! and funny, too. I would highly reccomend it to anyone, regardless how much experience you have. (too bad I'm not getting paid for this endorsment)
