Garage Band Problem

I am trying to find a way to make it so that i can use the sounds from my yamaha keyboard and not the software sounds in Garage band but i have not found a way to do this yet. Does anyone know how to do this?

Use the Audio out on your keyboard into the input of your mac and then record that "live" as such.

A better tool suited to that is Logic but it will still work with Garageband.
