Your film deserves an audience. Starting today, we're putting it in front of one.
We just launched the Showcase Reel: a row of member videos that plays right at the top of the Filmmakers Forums home page, the Showcase forum, and the Filmmakers Network. Every visitor sees it the moment they arrive. They click a thumbnail and your video plays right on the page, no extra steps, then they can jump straight to your post to comment.

Tips to get more views and subscribers
A few simple rules
Share your own work, or work you helped make. Films, reels, music videos, animation, documentaries, behind-the-scenes, tutorials: everything filmmaking is welcome. Spam, off-topic ads and anything not related to filmmaking will be removed. If a video is taken down or set to private on YouTube or Vimeo, it drops out of the reel automatically.
Your turn
Post your latest video in the Showcase today, and then watch a few from your fellow filmmakers. We can't wait to see what you're making!

What's in it for you
- Instant front-page placement. Post a video and it appears in the reel within about a minute. No waiting, no approval line for regular members.
- Two weeks up front. New videos are pinned to the first spots with a bright NEW badge and "posted 5 min ago" for 14 days, before they join the rotation.
- Seen again and again. After that, your video keeps coming back in the random rotation on every page view, for as long as it stays online.
- Fair turns for everyone. The reel shows only one video per filmmaker at a time, so everyone gets their moment.
- More views, likes and subscribers for your channel. Your video plays from YouTube or Vimeo, so every play counts as a view on your channel, and viewers are one click from liking it and subscribing.
- Real feedback from filmmakers. Every video links to its discussion, where students, teachers and working pros from around the world can give you notes.
How to get your video in the reel (2 minutes)
- Go to the Showcase forum and click Post thread, or post a video on the Filmmakers Network.
- Paste your YouTube or Vimeo link (or upload your video on the Network).
- Give it a clear title and add a few lines: what it is, your role, the gear or software you used, and what kind of feedback you'd like.
- Click post. Your video shows up in the reel within about a minute, and you'll see a note on your post saying it's live.
Tips to get more views and subscribers
- Use a strong thumbnail on YouTube or Vimeo. It's the first thing people see in the reel.
- Write a title people want to click, like "My first short film: a 4-minute thriller shot on a phone" rather than "Video1".
- Ask a specific question ("Does the ending land?", "How's the color?"). Specific questions get more replies.
- Reply to every comment. Conversations keep your post near the top of the forums.
- Add your channel to your profile so viewers can find all your work.
- Share your forum post link on your socials. It gives people a place to talk about your film.
- Watch and comment on other members' videos. The community gives back to people who show up.
