I love watching movies but this was borderline for getting turned off. I didn't like it. It was not funny. I was disappointed.

Not every film lands for every viewer, and that's okay. Stranger Than Fiction (2006) is a good film to discuss for its meta premise: a man who hears his life being narrated. Even when a film doesn't work for you, ask what the filmmakers were trying to do.
