Adobe Premiere 6.5

Hi,
I just recently downloaded Adobe Premiere 6.5 off Limewire and I have been trying to use it, but whenever I try playing something in that little Monitor box, this red cross appears in it and then it starts making these buzzing sounds.
Is this normal? I've never used Adobe Premiere in my life so I haven't got a clue.
Please someone help me..

I apologize for the delay in responding, and thank you for posting. Software downloaded from file-sharing sites is often broken or carries viruses, so it may not be your fault that it's misbehaving. It's best to remove it.

The good news is there are free, legal editors that are much better than Premiere 6.5: DaVinci Resolve is free and used by professionals, and many computers come with a basic editor built in. Adobe also offers student pricing for Premiere Pro. Our Editing & Post-production forum is a great place to ask questions as you learn.
