I apologize for the delay in responding, and thank you for posting. Audio engineering has a lot of scope in India, with a busy film industry, streaming series, music and gaming all needing sound recordists, editors and mixers. Well-known places to study include the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune and Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI) in Kolkata, which both offer sound recording and design programs, and Whistling Woods International in Mumbai. Check each school's official website for current admissions and fees. Whatever you choose, start recording and mixing your own projects now so you have a portfolio.
