Hand on cameraman internships

[Paul Saskas]

Hi all
My name is Paul and I'm an instructor at the Art Center College of Design.
Does anyone know of a hands on internship anywhere in the Los Angeles area? I'm trying to help a photography graduate get exposure to motion picture production.

Thank you
Paul Saskas :?:

I apologize for the delay in responding, and thank you for posting, Paul. It's wonderful that you're helping your graduate find a path into motion pictures.

In Los Angeles, camera rental houses are often a great first step, since prep technicians learn every piece of gear and meet working camera crews. Student and indie sets, and organizations like the ASC and the camera guild, also offer ways to connect. You can find crew opportunities at https://studentfilmmakers.com/casting-and-crew/.
