need help making a specific gore effect

So a friend of mine is wondering on how to create the effect of a guy taking a bite of an arm and you can see the tendons being pulled for a film she wants to make. I personally don't know how to do that exactly and was wondering if any of you have an idea on how to do that. Any help would be appreciated

I apologize for the delay in responding, and thank you for posting. An arm bite with tendons showing is classic practical-effects territory. The usual approach is a prosthetic appliance or a fake arm section built over the actor's real arm, with silicone or latex strands for tendons and plenty of stage blood, framed tight so the camera hides where the real arm ends. Special makeup effects tutorials, such as those from the Stan Winston School, show the techniques step by step. Please keep safety first: no real biting force near skin, and test every material for allergies before the shoot.
