Its not just the camera you need, but by the time you get all the little bits n pieces n cases it sums up very quickly.

what is that in USD? what is one Aus$ to one USD? the most cost was the camera and the lens? are you set up to edit?

yep lens and camera body were the biggest expenses so far.

I can do editing jobs (final cut pro), im not an overly experienced editor though, im mainly a cinematographer.
