Where to search for a screenwriter?

[ktoma]

Hello,

I am film school student/ new director. I have always made my projects based on my own scripts and stories, but it is time to try something new. I really want to adopt some other writer's script. DO you know where online I could look for co-operation with young script writers?

What exactly are you thinking about doing? Directing another writer's script is a great step. Tell us the length, genre and style you're looking for, and you can also connect with writers in the screenwriting groups on the Filmmakers Network https://networking.studentfilmmakers.com.

I am looking for a writer who can write script for my graduation movie. ~20 min long. I am coming from Baltic states and here all of the writers have the same style and the same themes, so I want to look around somewhere else

We have a screenwriters group here https://networking.studentfilmmakers.com. For a 20-minute graduation film, post a short request in our Screenwriting forum with the genre, themes and deadline, and you can also post it at https://studentfilmmakers.com/casting-and-crew/. Fresh voices from other countries can make a great collaboration.

What I really would like to make is a fairy tale movie for grown ups. Magical, maybe a bit dark.
Or black comedy ( as an example I can give any story of movie '' 4 Rooms'').
Anybody?

post this in the screen writing group and the networking classifieds ads and i will send it in the next email notification for the network. filmmakers have had a lot of luck finding people like that.
